The AI Profit Sprint.

From $19,999.

The spend is going out. The returns aren't coming back. In 90 days, we change that.

Your marketing team has the AI tools and a mandate to use them, and the work has barely changed. That's the AI Profitability Gap: the distance between what the strategy promised and what your people actually do with it. The Sprint closes it. We research where you really are, build the strategy to get past the surface, and land quick wins along the way, so the work starts paying before the plan is even finished. You end with a 2027 plan and momentum already behind it.

What it is
A 90-day engagement: research, strategy, and quick wins, ending in a 2027 plan for a marketing or creative team.
Who it's for
A leader with the tools in place but the returns stuck at the surface.
Timeline
90 days, from kickoff to the 2027 plan.
Your time
~3 hrs from you; ~30 min per team member.
Price
From $19,999. One leader + team up to 20.
What you receive
Workforce research, quick wins landed during the Sprint, and a prioritized 2027 plan across Empowered People, Efficient Process, and Profitable Platform.
The AI Profitability Gap, named

Most marketing teams didn't get AI wrong. They got it shallow. Tools were rolled out, everyone got access, and use settled at the obvious things: a first draft here, a quick summary there. Meanwhile the spend keeps running and the return never shows up. That's the AI Profitability Gap, and it sits across three dimensions, Empowered People, Efficient Process, and Profitable Platform, because a gap in any one of them stalls the other two. Until you can see exactly where it is for your team, you can't close it. The Sprint makes it visible, then starts closing it.

An MIT study of enterprise AI found the majority of generative-AI pilots delivered no measurable P&L return.

The researchers were clear the divide wasn't the technology, it was the approach. The approach is the human work, and that's what the Sprint does, then proves with quick wins. (Source: MIT / Project NANDA, The GenAI Divide, 2025.)

Inside the AI Profit Sprint

You don't walk away with advice. You walk away with returns already moving and a plan built from research on your actual team. Inside:

  • The situation read: where you, as the leader, believe your team's AI use stands today, and against what goals.
  • The reality map: what's actually happening across Empowered People, Efficient Process, and Profitable Platform, drawn from the research, not assumed from the top.
  • The profit-leak analysis: the specific gaps between what's believed and what's experienced, and what each one is costing you.
  • The quick wins: the early moves we implement with the team during the Sprint, so momentum builds and the work starts paying before the plan is finished.
  • The 2027 plan: a sequenced path from surface-level use to genuine mastery, with what to do, in what order, and how you'll know it's working.

Format: a ~20-page 2027 plan, delivered with a live 90-minute readout where we walk you and your team through it.

What we research

The plan is only as good as the truth underneath it, so we go and get the truth. For one leader and a team of up to 20, that's:

  • A structured survey of the team: how they're really using AI, where they're stuck, and what they're quietly avoiding.
  • 4 to 6 one-to-one interviews with you and selected team members, because the honest version rarely shows up in a survey.
  • A review of the work itself: the tools in place, the workflows around them, and the workarounds people have built to cope.
  • A look at your AI usage and spend data where available, to see activity against value.

We look through three lenses, Empowered People (readiness, trust, identity), Efficient Process (where AI meets the actual work), and Profitable Platform (whether the tools earn their keep), because a gap in any one of them stalls the other two.

How it works
  1. 01: Your read. Week 1. We start from your seat: goals, team, and where you think AI sits today.
  2. 02: The ground truth. Weeks 2 to 4. We run the research across Empowered People, Efficient Process, and Profitable Platform, and find the distance between what's believed and what's lived.
  3. 03: Quick wins. From Week 4, running alongside. As the picture sharpens, we implement the early moves with the team, so returns start showing before the plan is done.
  4. 04: The strategy and 2027 plan. Weeks 10 to 13. We build the plan, then sit with you and your team to walk through it, so it lands and the work keeps moving.
Who does the work

Your Sprint is researched and built by the two founders, not handed to a junior team.

Matt Perry has spent about thirty years inside marketing and creative organizations finding the alignment between brands, products, and people, and the last few years on AI strategy and building AI solutions. Rob Cannon, PhD, is an organizational psychologist who studied at Cambridge and earned his PhD at Sydney, and who studies how teams adopt, resist, and reshape new ways of working.

Scope and price

The AI Profit Sprint is from $19,999. The base covers one leader and one team of up to 20 people: their read, the workforce research across Empowered People, Efficient Process, and Profitable Platform, the profit-leak analysis, the quick wins landed during the 90 days, the 2027 plan, and the readout.

More than one leader, or more than one team, and we add a Sprint for each. Once the scope reaches beyond a handful of leaders and teams, a whole function or division, the AI Transformation Advisory is the better fit, scoped and priced around the whole picture.

Who it's for, and who it isn't

For: the marketing or creative leader accountable for turning AI spend into returns, tools already in place, adoption stuck at the surface, who wants an honest read and early wins, not another vendor pitch.

Not for: leaders still choosing tools, anyone after a training course, or anyone who wants the result without an honest look at what's actually blocking the team.

Questions
How long does it take?
90 days, from kickoff to the 2027 plan, with quick wins landing along the way.
What do you need from us?
About 3 hours of your time, ~30 minutes from each team member surveyed, and access to see how AI is being used.
Is this just a plan, or do you actually do anything?
Both. The Sprint researches your team and builds the 2027 plan, and lands quick wins during the 90 days, so the work starts paying before the plan is finished.
Is this training?
No. Training teaches tools. The Sprint finds why the tools aren't returning, starts fixing it, and hands you the plan to keep going.
We already have an AI strategy. Why this?
A strategy sets direction. The Sprint checks whether your team is actually moving in it, closes the early gaps, and names what's stopping them if they're not.
How is this different from a big consultancy?
The big firms tell you where to go. We research your actual team, land early wins, and hand you the plan to get them there, senior-led, marketing-specific, and sized for a marketing budget.
What if we need help beyond the 90 days?
That's the AI Transformation Advisory, where we stay in the room as the change lands across more than one team.
